Gaming laptops of 2018:
1.Asus ROG Zephyrus M
The Asus ROG Zephyrus M is a super-thin laptop with superb gaming chops and top-shelf hardware. It is rocking a six-core CPU, GTX 1070 GPU, and has an innovative cooling design whereby the bottom of the chassis folds open when the lid is pried up, allowing it to be nice and thin when it is closed. It is a supreme mix of portability and power, and its design is even understated, especially coming from Asus.
2.Razer Blade 15:
Razer redesigned its Blade for 2018 and it is the best one yet, coming in at just 0.6″ thick and yet zero compromises and have been made in the hardware department. It is still packing high-powered components throughout including a 144Hz panel, and yet it still offers over six hours of battery life.
3.Acer Predator Helios 500:
There’s an old saying that goes, “There’s no replacement for displacement,” and that’s true in the laptop world as well. This big mutha has a Core i9 CPU, GTX 1070, and both a 512GB NVME SSD and a 2TB HDD. It is spacious panel runs at 144Hz, and thanks to its generous cooling it runs as cool as a cucumber.
4.MSI GS65 Stealth Thin:
MSI’s super-thin GS65 Stealth is the type of laptop that seemed impossible to build just a year or two ago. Razor thin and packing high-end hardware, the GS65 has an abundance of expansion ports and also looks quite classy with its gold and black motif.
5.Asus ROG Strix SCAR II:
This is Asus’s version of a laptop for a true gamer, meaning someone who wants everyone to know their laptop is made for gaming. It is got a faux carbon finish, an RGB light strips along the front and sides, and naturally is packed with the fastest mobile parts available.
6.MSI GT75 Titan:
This truly be considered a beast, and it is the GT75 Titan from MSI. This unholy combination of fire breathing hardware requires two power supplies, yes, two of them. And each one of them weighs about as much as a typical laptop, so this entire setup is just decadent, bordering on ridiculous.
